Summer credit courses are offered throughout July and August. Classes are one month long, so a student may take up to one credit per month and two credits over the span of the summer term. Many of our students use this time to get ahead and reduce their future course load in their day school.
Summer courses run Monday to Friday, six hours per day (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) for one month.
Students can choose the July session, the August session or both.
A student who has registered for a credit course but does not attend the first class may not be admitted to the course. Regular attendance is crucial for success in summer school. One day of summer school is equivalent to more than one week of instruction in the regular school year. A student is expected to be punctual and attend every day. Absence from summer school for personal activities or vacation is not acceptable. Abuse of this attendance policy will result in withdrawal from class. A student may be withdrawn after one unacceptable absence.
Students should attend all classes and complete assignments and tests before the deadline.
